Apple unveils iPhone 5 starting @ $199, Specification, Features, Photos, Picshots, Design, Apple iPhone 5 with 4-inch screen
Apple has launched its most awaited iphone 5, it will 18% thinner than iPhone 4S and at same price as of iPhone 4S i.e $199, $299$, $399.
New Apples range of smart phone will include iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. Company has now phased out the older model 3GS.
This new iPhone 5 is made entirely of glass and aluminum said Apple's marketing cheif Phil Schiller.
Company claimd that this is the wold's thinnest smart phone and is 20% lighter than iPhone 4S.
Company will start taking orders of this model from Sep 14th and shipment will start from Sep 21st and will sold to 100 countries by the end of the year.
Some key features of new iPhone 5
- 4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels at 326 ppi.
- Weighs 112g, and is 20 % lighter than the iPhone 4S.
- iPhone 5 is made entirely of glass and aluminum,
- 18 % thinner than its iPhone 4S, and company claim this is the world's thinnest smart phone
- iPhone 5 runs iOS 6. iOS 6 software will be available on Wednesday, September 19 as a free software update.
- iPhone 5 gets a new connector - Lightning. It has all digital, 8-signal design, and is 80 per cent smaller than its predecessor.
- iPhone 5 comes with an 8 megapixel camera. The lens is the same as the 4S, but thinner.
- iPhone5 boasts of 40 per cent faster image capture than the iPhone 4S.
- Powered by the A6 chip - 2X faster CPU, 2X faster graphics, 22 per cent smaller.
- iPhone 5 gets panorama mode. Resultant images are 28 megapixels huge. Apple iPhone 5 lets users take photos while recording video.
