Apple has launched its new smartphone 5s and 5c in India on 1st November. As per report Apple has shipped out 30,000 units to India out of which 5s was 6000. These new smartphones were priced as mentioned below in Inida.

Immediately after the launch of these news series iPhones, a heavy demand was noticed and as per report within 24 hours of launch 5s was out of stock.
It is also said that the schemes launched by telecom major Airtel and Reliance Communication also helped to push the demand.Both the telecom giants has sold good numbers as mentioned below, thereafter ran out of stock.
- Reliance Communication : 2700 units of 5s
- Airtel : 700 units of 5s
India being world's 3 largest consumer of smart phones by volume has noticed a very high demand of these new smartphone. Apple's distributors in India Redington and Ingram Micro were contacted by retailers to immediately supply of more units.
Even retails and online giants like The MobileStore, PlanetM, UniverCell and Future Group have declared that they don't have any stock of these smartphones now.
It has also been observed that many consumers are ordering these units from other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai and ready to pay even extra customs duty for buying these handsets.
