Nokia Lumia 525 with 1GB RAM, 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor unveiled


After weeks of speculation, Nokia has launched the new smart phone named as Nokia Lumia 525, which seems to be the successor to the Lumia 520 and looks similar to it. It runs on Windows Phone 8 OS.




Lumia 525 comes with a 4 inch IPS LCD screen with 800×480 pixels resolution, translating to a pixel density of 235ppi and is powered with a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It has a 1 GB RAM as compared with 512 MB RAM of Lumia 520. Lumia 525 has a 8 GB internal memory which can be extended till 64 GB using micro SD card.

Lumia 525 is a single sim handset and has a single rear camera which is 5 MP in resolution and doesn't has a flash option. Other camera features include focal length 28mm, 4x digital zoom, Auto Focus with minimum range of 10cm. The ISO sensitivity is 100 to 800. Camera can record videos in 1280×720 pixels (HD) resolution at 30fps. Company has given a battery of 1430mAh, which can deliver up to 17 hours of talktime and up to 336 hours of standby time.

Lumia 525 is 9.9mm thick and weighs about 124 grams. It will come in black, white, orange, and yellow colours. Currently has not reveled the pricing and availability details though Lumia 525 is listed on company's website.
