Transfer and Sync your contacts from iPhone to Android & from Android to iPhone





Most of want to change from Android to iPhone or vice versa, but are worried on how to transfer important data mainly our contacts.
This is a biggest problem which we face while switching our OS. Today we will advice you how to transfer your contacts when you switch from iPhone to Android.
Majorly 3 ways are available to help you out for transferring contacts from iPhone to Android.

1) Using iTunes.

While transfering contact from iphone to android 2 steps are involved.

A) Using iPhone, Transferring contacts from iphone to Google , follow below steps.

  • Connect your iphone to PC / Laptop via USB.
  • Open iTunes software and click on "INFO" tab.
  • You will get an option of "Sync Contacts with......" and select "Google Contacts" using drop down option.
  • Click on "Configure" tab and system with ask you to enter your user id and password, which you would be having.
  • After following the above procedure all the contact save in your iPhone are save in Google account. Now, you have to download it to you Android phone.

B) Using Android, Downloading contact to your new Android Phone, follow below steps.

  • Go to "Menu" => "Setting" => "Account & Sync"
  • Click on "Add account" option and  select "Google Account option" and enter you user id and password.
  • Clicking on Google account will open "Sync options" from this you can sync your contacts, gmail, google reader, picasa and Google calender.

Now, using iTune you have transferred all your contact to your new Android phone.


2) Using iCloud
While transferring contact from iphone to android 2 steps are involved.

A) Using iPhone, Transferring contacts from iphone to Google , follow below steps.


This is the second option through which you can transfer your contact from your iPhone to Android.

Just you need to follow below steps.
  • Open "iCloud.com" and login to your iCloud account.
  • Click on "Contacts" and now you can see all your contact of your iPhone.
  • Click "CTRL + A" to select all your contacts, and click on"Setting" key shown on the bottom left.
  • Select "Export vCard" as show below in picture.
  • Click to your Gmail and go to "Gmail => Contacts"
  • Click on "Import Contacts" and alert will be displayed on screen.




B) Using Android, Downloading contact to your new Android Phone, follow below steps.

Install the Bump app on your Android phone and on your iPhone.

  • Launch Bump on both phones. Allow permissions when prompted.
  • On the sender device, which is the iPhone, swipe to the right until you reach the contacts section.
  • You will see a list of all your contacts. Select those contacts that you want to share.
  • A label “Bump now!” will appear at the upper-right corner.
  • Lightly bump your two devices.
  • Tap the Connect button on the popup dialog to let the two devices communicate.
  • A copy of your selected contacts will be sent to the receiving device.
