Intex Aqua i4+ with Android 4.2, 5-inch display, dual-core CPU launched at Rs. 7,600

Intex has launched its new budget smartphone, Intex Aqua i4+ running on Android OS. This new handset is priced at Rs 7,600. Intex Aqua i4+ is the upgraded version of its earlier Aqua i4.

Intex Aqua i4+ is a dual sim phone and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 5-inch IPS display with 480x854 resolution. It is powered with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and comes with 512 MB RAM.

It has a 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It has a 4GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using micro sd card.

Intex Aqua i4+ has a battery of 2000 mAh capacity which offers a talk time of 6 hours and a standby time of 220 hours. For connectivity handset offers features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS/ AGPS and 3G. It has features of motion sensor, light sensor and proximity sensor.

In November, company has launched the Aqua i6 which was priced for Rs 8,990 for India market. Intex Aqua i6 runs is a dual sim handset and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 5-inch display with 480x854 pixel resolution. It is powered with a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 quad core processor. Aqua i6 has a rear camera of 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front facing camera. It gets it power from a battery of 1900mAh capacity which give talktime up to 6 hours and a standby time of up to 220 hours. For connectivity, Aqua i6 offers features of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and 3G.

In November, Intex launched the Aqua i6 at Rs. 8,990 for the Indian market. The Intex Aqua i6 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is a dual-SIM smartphone with GSM+GSM support. It features a 5-inch (480x854 pixel) display, and is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 processor, coupled with a Mali 400MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The Aqua i6 sports dual cameras - an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and 3G. The device packs a 1900mAh battery that according to company can last up to 6 hours and gives a standby time of up to 220 hours.

Intex Aqua i4+ will be competing with Micromax Canvas Juice A77 which has been recently launched in India at a price of  Rs 7,999.
