Song has started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for few Xperia model devices which include Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z just ahead of Christmas and new year holidays.
This news was announced by Song through its Sony Mobile Blog, though the update's timing and availability for these devices will vary depending upon the market and mobile carrier.
Company has also revealed the changelog Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z with Android 4.3 update.This update include UI optimisation which will bring Project Butter performance; redesigned native apps (messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select among others). Also Sony's media update (WALKMAN, Album and Movies) will now be more intergrated with a intuitive UI which will offer access to both local and cloud content. Company also confirm the addition of Sony's Smart Social Camera to these devices which were intially introduce with Xperia Z1. Smart social camera app will allow users to access and download the 'Xperia camera apps' within the viewfinder.
Sony's has introduced addition of 'Restricted Profiles' for Sony Xperia Tablet Z which will help users to create isolated, secure spaces with individual local storage, homescreen, widgets and settings. Sony has also introduced the addition of custom interface experience called 'Xperia Themes'.
