Android 4.4.2 KitKat update starts rolling out on Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Korean giant, Samsung has started rolling out the much awaited Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update for its Galaxy Note 3 models. According to sammobile, the Galaxy Note 3' update for firmware number N9005XXUENA6 is available over-the-air (OTA) and also through company's Kies software. However there is no news when this update will be available for Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9000) series model, which is available in India.



The website has also revealed that the changelog for the update included music, album art displayed on the
lockscreen while playing music, camera shortcut on the lockscreen, upgraded Emoji icon, default launcher from the setting menu, new new wireless printing service, and more inbuilt Google apps like Photos and Drive.

This update for Galaxy Note 3 also included the option to choose from the default messaging app between the device's messages app and Google hangouts. Recently we have seen the leaked screenshots of Galaxy S4 having Android 4.4.2 KitKat screenshots and showed a flatter TouchWiz Nature UX design. But till now  this update in not available for Galaxy S4.

Earlier, it has heard that Samsung will rollout the Android 4.4 KitKat update by end January and early Febuary for its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
