Indian smartphone maker plans to launch one more low budget smartphone named as Lava Iris 408e. Handset is already listed on a eCommerce website with a discounted price.
Lava Iris 408e is currently not launched officially by company, but is already listed on online retailer and is priced for INR 3,829. Handset features a 4 inch TFT LCD capacitive touch screen display of 480x800 pixel resolution. It gets its power from a single core processor (unspecified chipset) clocked at 1 GHz. Its RAM is of 256 MB.
This device comes with dual cameras in which primary camera is of 3 megapixel resolution with LED flash support and front facing camera of VGA resolution. It has a inbuilt memory of 512 MB and can be extended upto 21 GB using micro SD card. For connectivity, it offers features of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and GPRS features, but does not support 3G. It runs on Android 2.3 OS.
The Lava Iris 408e comes with pre-installed apps like Gmail, Google play, Gtalk and few others.
