Moto G (2nd Gen) launched For Rs. 12,999 : This time its with 5.0-inch 720p HD IPS display and Expandable memory through micro SD card.

After the great success of Moto G, Mtorola has launched the 2nd generation of Moto G after adding slightly better hardware. Handset is available on Flipkart at a price of Rs 12,999 for 16GB.


Company informed that earlier they had sold 1.6 million devices through flipkart in India and this time they have made sure that they have sufficient stock for all buyers.

The new version of Moto G comes with a 5.0-inch 720p HD IPS display made out of Corning Gorilla Glass. This time handset comes with 2 front stereo speakers and an 8 megapixel primary camera and 2 GB secondary camera.

This handset also comes with a micro SD slot which is located underneath the back cover, so this time users can expand the memory using micro SD cards. There is no change in the processor, i.e its same 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 2,070 mAh battery.The new Moto G still shoots in 720p. However, they considered going for 1080p video capability, to compete with the Xiaomi Mi3.

Device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and is up gradable to Android L once it is launched. Handset will come with few motorola apps like Assist, which provides a voice-activated Drive Mode when you’re on the road and Migrate, which helps you transfer old phone contacts to the new one.
