iOS Finally Starts Receiving WhatApp Calling Update.

image
It was at Facebook’s F8 developers’ conference when Brian Acton, WhatsApp’s co-founder made the announcement, "iOS users will be getting the voice calling update in a couple weeks."
Keeping his promise, the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature, which was made available only to Android users, has been now rolled out and can be used by iOS users too.
The new update reads out, "WhatsApp Calling: Call your friends and family using WhatsApp for free, even if they’re in another country. WhatsApp calls use your phone’s Internet connection rather than your cellular plan’s voice minutes. Data charges may apply. Note: WhatsApp Calling is rolling out slowly over the next several weeks.”
As said in the update, it may take few weeks for all the users to enjoy this feature as it will be rolled out in phases. Even though the update is available for download right away, users might have to wait for the calling feature to get started.
Another major highlight of the latest version is the addition of iOS 8's sharing extension that enables a user to share images, videos, and links to WhatsApp contacts from any other app. The update also adds the quick camera button in chats that allows users to launch the camera button right from the chat screen to share with contacts.
Other additions include the ability to edit contacts from the WhatsApp app, send multiple videos at once, and options to crop and rotate videos before sharing them.
While it is available for Android and iOS uses, those using Windows Platform will have to wait a bit longer as its development is under process.

Apple iPhone 5 rocorded sales in 24hrs, Apple gets record 2 million iPhone5 orders in 24 hrs

Apple said today that it received more than two million orders for its new iPhone 5 in 24 hours, and that many deliveries would be pushed back into October because of strong demand.

“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing.

Apple unveiled the new version of its iconic smartphone last Wednesday and opened up pre-orders on Friday.

The first customers in the United States and several other countries are expected to get the device September 21, but Apple said some would have to wait.
