Asus Padfone mini 4.3 with quad-core Snapdragon 400 launched

Asus has launched its new Padfone mini 4.3 at an event in Taiwan. Handset is priced at 11,990 New Taiwanese dollars, which roughly is to equivalent to INR 25,000. Currently this new handset of Asus will be available in Taiwan only, though it is reumered that company will launch it in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Russia, and Singapore soon.

Asus Padfone mini 4.3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is powered with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor. It features a 4.3-inch qHD (540x960) Super IPS display which boasts a pixel density of 256ppi. It comes with 1 GB RAM. It has 2 cameras, rear camera is of 8-megapixel with LED flash while front camera is of 2-megapixel. Padfone mini 4.3 comes with 16 GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded using micro SD card upto 64 GB.

Asus Padfone mini 4.3 is a dual sim handset (GSM+GSM). For connectivity it offers features of WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS and 3G. Asus Padfone mini 4.3 smartphone packs a 1500mAh battery, while the 7-inch tablet dock comes with a battery of  2200mAh capacity.

The Asus Padfone mini 4.3 will be available in 3 colors i.e Black, Pink and White. It is 8.68mm thick and weighs 105 grams. The docking station weighs 310 grams.
