Lenovo Vibe Z with LTE, 5.5-inch display, 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor gets a price and release date

Lenovo has now announced the availability and pricing of its Vibe Z phablet which company revealed earlier in November. Vibe Z has been priced at $549 which is roughly equivalent to Rs 34,300. Handset will be hit the markets of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines in February.

Lenovo Vibe Z is a dual sim handset (GSM+GSM) 4G LTE and is powered with a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. This is the same processor which has been used by Samsung in its Galaxy Note 3 and Sony's Xperia Z1. It has a RAM of 2GB and Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

It features a rear camera of 13 megapixel with features of f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash. Its front camera is of 5 megapixel. It has a inbuilt memory of 16GB which can be expanded further upto 32GB using micro SD card. It comes with a 5.5 inch full HD touchscreen display.

Company has not revealed the battery details but has reveled that handset will deliver a standby time of 278 hours. It will also come with a flip cover, which seems similar as we saw in Galaxy Note 3.

"We are proud to collaborate with Lenovo to enable the company's first LTE smartphone," said Raj Talluri, senior vice president of product management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

Lenovo has also recently launched its model Vibe X in India market which is priced at Rs 25,9990. Vibe X features a 5 inch full HD display that has a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and 440ppi pixel density. It is powered with a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK 6589T) processor and has a RAM of 2GB. Vibe X runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a inbuilt storage memory of 16GB.
