Subway Surfers: World tour comes to Mumbai, cops in khaki and local trains

Subway Surfers is one of the famous and widely played mobile games which has been designed and developed by Kiloo Games, Denmark. It has over 100 million downloads on Google Play Store for Android

After its hit version of games running in the streets of London, Sydney and Rome, Kiloo has brought the new version in which it will hit the streets of Mumbai, India.

While play this version of game you will feel as if you are in the streets of Mumbai. Game shows the famous "local trains" in the same brown and cream color. The tracks are lines with fruit stalls and the games is decked up with a lot more colors.

The game also adds a new collectible character called Jay you can use while playing. The character looks suspiciously similar to Milkha Singh as portrayed by Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, down to the number tag attached on the back of his shirt. Interestingly, even the inspector in the game that chases the characters is dressed up in khaki colours to go with the uniform worn by police officers in the city. You will now have to collect a total of 10 lotuses (lotuses in an election year? Fishy...) in the game while playing. Check out the gameplay:

The game finally available on Windows Phone in December but surprisingly, that version of the game is still stuck in the London leg of the World Tour. You can, however, download the game in which you can run through the streets of Mumbai on your Android and iOS devices.
