Android 4.4 KitKat Update starts Rolling Out in India on Moto G

Recently launched Moto G has been in news for quite some time. Now company has started rolling out the latest Android KitKat 4.4.update for users in India. Already company has promised the update will be rolled out soon and now company has done it.

With this latest Kitkat 4.4.2  update, below features will be added or improved.

• Update will bring new dialer app
• Google Hangout will be now support SMS and MMS.
• It will smoothen the performance and will also improve the aesthetic feature.
• KitKat 4.4 has been designed for phones with minimum 512 mb RAM, whereas Moto G comes with 1 GB RAM, which mean with this new update handset will operate more smoothly.
• New features have been added with this update like gallert app, WiFi and Sensor batching for energy efficiency, printer support and immersive mode.

Moto G has finally hit Indian market with an attractive pricing of INR 12,499 for 8GB version and INR 13,999 for 16 GB version. Currently handset will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but will be soon upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat via OTA support.

Moto G is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core with Adreno 305 GPU. It features a 4.5 inch display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and will come with gorialla glass 3 protection. Its RAM is of 1 GB and will be available in 2 variants of 8 GB inbuilt memory and 16 GB inbuilt memory. Handset will not have an external SD card support. But important point is that company has offered 50 GB of additional free cloud storage on Google Drive for 2 years.

Primary camera is of 5 megapixel resolution with LED flash feature and front camera is of 1.3 megapixel resolution which will support HD video recording. It packs a battery of 2070 mAh capacity. For connectivity, handset offers features of 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

One more key features of Moto G is that handset includes waterproof coating on external as well as internal parts, company claim that this will save the phone from the damage due to water. Seeing the Indian market trend and requirement, company has also added radion FM features in the variant launched in India.

Moto G was designed by Google but now its a Lenovo product. Its great look, beautiful design, and attractive pricing will definitely rock in Indian market. Currently handset is listed on eCommerce website, but seeing the rush we believe it will soon run out of stock.
