Indian smartphone maker, Micromax has added a new smartphone in its Canvas series named as Micromax Canvas Power A96. Handset is priced at INR 9,900. The key attraction and USP of this handset is its powerful battery of 4000 mAh,

Canvas Power features a 5 inch touch screen IPS LCD display with 854 x 480 FWVGA resolution. Its a dual sim (GSM+GSM) handset and runs on Android 4.1 OS. Handset is powered with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK 6582M processor. Its RAM is of 512 MB and inbuilt memory is of 4 GB which can be expanded upto 32 GB using microSD card.

It comes with 2 cameras. Primary camera is of 5 megapixel resolution and has LED flash, details of the secondary camera is not available as on date. For connectivity, handset features 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. Handset comes with few preloaded apps such as Games (Bubble X Slice and Catch a Mouse), Kingsoft, Hike, Opera Mini and M! Live.
