Gionee M2 with Quad Core Processor, Powerful battery of 4200 mAh and 5 inch display launched

After the success of its recently launched Elife series handset, Chinese giant has launched a new phablet M2 for Indian market. This new handset in listed on one of the eCommerce website.

Gionee M2 packs a powerful battery of 4200 mAh capacity. It features a 5-inch touch screen capacitive display with  854 x 480 pixels resolution which supports 64 million colors. It is powered by a Quad core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 CPU. It runs on Android 4.2 OS.

M2 is a dual sim (GSM + GSM) handset and comes with 1 GB RAM and inbuilt memory of 4 GB which can be expanded upto 32 GB. It comes with OTG storage support and with its powerful battery can be used as an external powerbank to charge other devices.

Primary camera is of 8 megapixel resolution while secondary one is of 2 megapixel which can be used for video calling. The handset offers talktime upto 24 hours on 3G network and 31.5 hours on 2G network. Seeing the spec it seems Gionee has again hit on the right place. Its pricing is seems decent and could affect other brands.

Currently handset is listed on snapdeal and is available for INR 11123.
