Moto G has finally hit Indian market with an attractive pricing of INR 12,499 for 8GB version and INR 13,999 for 16 GB version. Currently handset will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but will be soon upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat via OTA support.
Moto G is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core with Adreno 305 GPU. It features a 4.5 inch display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and will come with gorialla glass 3 protection. Its RAM is of 1 GB and will be available in 2 variants of 8 GB inbuilt memory and 16 GB inbuilt memory. Handset will not have an external SD card support. But important point is that company has offered 50 GB of additional free cloud storage on Google Drive for 2 years.
Primary camera is of 5 megapixel resolution with LED flash feature and front camera is of 1.3 megapixel resolution which will support HD video recording. It packs a battery of 2070 mAh capacity. For connectivity, handset offers features of 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
One more key features of Moto G is that handset includes waterproof coating on external as well as internal parts, company claim that this will save the phone from the damage due to water. Seeing the Indian market trend and requirement, company has also added radion FM features in the variant launched in India.
