Sony Xperia Z1 compact with waterproof phone listed on company's India website

Japanese giant, Sony has launched its new compact waterproof smartphone, Sony Xperia Z1 in India. Handset is listed on company's India website with a price tag of INR 36,990.

Sony Xperia Z1 features a 4.3 inch screen with TRILUMINOS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.3 OS. It is powered with a qualcomm quad core chipset MSM8974 clocked at 2.2 GHz coupled with Adreno 330 GPU.

It primary camera is of 20.7 MP resolution with LED flash support which supports FHD video recording. Secondary camera is of 2 MP resolution and can record 1080 p resolution videos. It is comes with single Micro SIM slot.

Key features of this handset is that it is water proof. It is comes with IP58 certification i.e its water resistant up to 1 meter and dust proof. For connectivity it features 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and Bluetoot. Its RAM is of 2 GB and internal storage is of 16 GB which can be expanded upto 64 GB using micro SD card.
